Junior League of Poughkeepsie Volunteers at The Arc of Dutchess

The Clinic garden was started several years ago with assistance from our Occupational Therapist at the time who had seen the benefits of therapeutic gardening at a Rehab facility he visited.  Since that time the garden has been utilized extensively to promote a number of different clinical goals and has been the recipient of many volunteer hours from a number of different businesses and organizations.  Most recently, The Junior League of Poughkeepsie lent a helping hand.

Danielle Strauch and Jamie Cevetilio spent their morning on Saturday, October 28 2017 helping clinic Director, Anna Frankel, in cleaning up the Clinic Garden and preparing it for winter. Pulling weeds, raking leaves, pruning back the perennials and hauling away the debris left the garden in the great condition. Daffodil bulbs were planted and will be a welcome harbinger of Spring.

Thank You Danielle & Jamie!
